Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) - Reduced Fare Program
Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) serves the Hampton Roads region including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth, and Suffolk. Reduced fare passes (50% off) available for seniors, disabled individuals, and Medicare card holders on all HRT buses, The Tide light rail, and passenger ferry service between Norfolk and Portsmouth.
Eligibility
Seniors 65+, Medicare card holders, disabled individuals with HRT ID card. Apply at HRT main office with proof of eligibility.
